JTT’s Commitment to Deliver Optimal Service Through Sustainable Toll Road Maintenance
Bekasi (22/01) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) continues to strengthen its commitment to maintaining optimal toll road infrastructure through the implementation of sustainable maintenance programs across all Trans Java toll road sections. This effort forms part of JTT’s responsibility to deliver safe, comfortable, and reliable toll road services for road users.
VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, emphasized that toll road maintenance is carried out routinely and systematically as a reflection of the company’s commitment to service quality. “Maintenance activities include pothole repairs, pavement improvements, and the upkeep of road safety facilities. Through consistent and sustainable implementation, we ensure that toll road infrastructure remains in optimal condition so that road users can travel safely and comfortably,” said Ria.
In carrying out toll road maintenance, JTT conducts routine and measurable activities in accordance with the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) for Toll Roads and the Service Level Agreement (SLA) provisions stipulated in the management contract. Road condition inspections are performed daily through a self-assessment mechanism by on-site officers, enabling potential road condition issues to be identified early and promptly addressed in line with applicable service indicators.
Specifically for pothole-related issues, handling is prioritized with a maximum completion time of 2 × 24 hours from the time of on-site findings or receipt of public reports, in accordance with the Toll Road Minimum Service Standards. Meanwhile, other types of road condition issues are addressed based on technical indicators and the respective tolerance time frames in accordance with applicable standards.
As part of this commitment, JTT ensures that every public report and on-site finding related to road condition disturbances is followed up promptly and in a measurable manner. For example, on January 4, 2026, pothole repair work was carried out at KM 15+070 toward Jakarta on Lane 1 of the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road section using a Type 1 (permanent) patching method. The road condition has since been restored and is now safely passable for road users.
In addition, the JTT Group continues to optimize the preparedness of field teams in response to unfavorable weather conditions, particularly high rainfall. On one of the key toll road sections in Central Java, the Batang–Semarang Toll Road managed by PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang, several maintenance activities have been carried out, including pavement treatment and road condition improvements between KM 354 and KM 358, to ensure infrastructure quality remains well maintained amid dynamic weather conditions.
Considering the potential for continued high rainfall, the JTT Group continues to monitor the results of completed repairs and prepare anticipatory measures to ensure that toll road service quality is sustainably maintained.
Through the implementation of routine inspections, compliance with regulations, and prioritized handling of potholes, JTT reaffirms that toll road maintenance represents an ongoing commitment to maintaining optimal infrastructure while delivering safe and comfortable journeys for the public across all Trans Java toll road sections.
