74 Thousand Vehicles Pass Through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, JTT Ensures Optimal Service Amid Increased Isra Mikraj Holiday Traffic
Cikampek (16/01) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) reported a significant increase in traffic movement during the 2026 Isra Mikraj holiday of Prophet Muhammad SAW. During the H-1 to D-Day period (January 15–16, 2026), a total of 74,442 vehicles were recorded traveling toward the Eastern Trans Java Region through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT), marking a 15.69% increase compared to the normal traffic volume of 64,348 vehicles.
VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the surge in traffic briefly caused congestion on Friday (16/1), prompting on-site traffic management adjustments. “On January 16, 2026, based on Police discretion, a contraflow traffic scheme was implemented from KM 47 to KM 65 toward Cikampek on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road. This measure was taken to maintain smooth traffic flow toward the Eastern Trans Java Region and to provide a more comfortable journey for road users,” said Ria.
In the opposite direction, vehicle movement from the Eastern Trans Java Region through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate reached 54,535 vehicles, slightly decreasing by 1.31% compared to the normal volume of 55,258 vehicles, indicating relatively stable traffic flow.
