Return Flow of Isra Mikraj Holiday Begins to Emerge, 29 Thousand Vehicles Pass Through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate
Cikampek (18/01) – Based on traffic data during the H+1 period (January 17, 2026) of the 2026 Isra Mikraj holiday of Prophet Muhammad SAW, the return flow of vehicles from the Eastern Trans Java Region has begun to show an increase. This is reflected in the volume of vehicles traveling toward Jakarta through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT), which reached 29,576 vehicles, an increase of 4.86% compared to the normal traffic volume of 28,205 vehicles. This rise indicates the beginning of return traffic movement following the holiday period.
VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that vehicle movement toward the Eastern Trans Java Region has started to decline. “In the opposite direction, vehicle movement toward the Eastern Trans Java Region through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate was recorded at 26,711 vehicles, decreasing by 19.55% compared to the normal traffic volume of 33,204 vehicles,” said Ria.
Traffic volume was also observed to increase on toll road sections managed by the JTT Group in the Central Java and East Java regions
1.Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
During the same period, vehicles leaving Semarang reached 17,183 vehicles (up 15.27% from the normal 14,907 vehicles). Meanwhile, vehicles heading toward Semarang totaled 13,406 vehicles (down 30.34% from the normal 19,244 vehicles).
b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic heading toward Jakarta through Banyumanik Toll Gate recorded 21,392 vehicles (up 5.14% from the normal 20,346 vehicles). Toward Solo, 23,560 vehicles were recorded (down 17.48% from the normal 28,550 vehicles).
2.East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Jakarta totaled 19,751 vehicles (down 18.98% from the normal 24,379 vehicles), while traffic toward Surabaya reached 20,445 vehicles (down 2.87% from the normal 21,050 vehicles).
b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 28,528 vehicles were recorded heading toward Surabaya (down 2.63% from the normal 29,299 vehicles), and 29,161 vehicles heading toward Malang (down 6.41% from the normal 31,158 vehicles).
c. Singosari Toll Gate
On H+1 of the Isra Mikraj holiday, vehicles heading toward Surabaya reached 16,006 vehicles (up 4.15% from the normal 15,368 vehicles), while traffic toward Malang totaled 16,440 vehicles (down 15.67% from the normal 19,494 vehicles).
PT JTT urges Trans Java toll road users to continue prioritizing safety, plan their journeys carefully, ensure that both vehicle and driver are in optimal condition, and check fuel sufficiency as well as electronic toll balance. Compliance with traffic signs and instructions from on-site officers is essential to ensure smooth traffic flow and shared safety.
