JTT Continues Gradual Road Repairs, Toll Services Remain Operational to Ensure Road User Safety

Cikampek (02/02) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) continues to carry out road handling and repair works on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road as part of the company’s responsibility to maintain the safety and comfort of road users. Amid persistently high rainfall, JTT ensures that repair efforts continue without halting toll road operations, which serve as a primary mobility corridor for the public each day.

Weather conditions with high rainfall intensity have indeed affected pavement conditions at several locations. Nevertheless, JTT emphasizes that such conditions are not a reason to delay handling. Repairs are carried out gradually and in a measured manner, with strict traffic management to ensure the toll road remains safely passable.

As part of these efforts, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, JTT conducted road handling works at 128 points on Line A toward Cikampek, covering KM 28+800 to KM 63+580, as well as 112 points on Line B toward Jakarta, covering KM 73+750 to KM 11+650. Subsequently, on Sunday, February 1, 2026, JTT handled 204 points on Line A, covering KM 02+250 to KM 46+250, and 154 points on Line B toward Jakarta, covering KM 57+550 to KM 07+200. All repaired locations remain under intensive monitoring through routine field inspections to ensure road conditions remain serviceable and safe for travel.

Today, Monday, February 2, 2026, JTT continues patching works at 47 points on Line A toward Cikampek (KM 24+000 to KM 66+570) and 40 points on Line B toward Jakarta (KM 44+700 to KM 02+700). All works are carried out in accordance with operational safety standards and coordinated traffic management to minimize impact on road users’ travel flow.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that JTT understands the concerns and inconvenience experienced by road users. Therefore, in addition to conducting repairs, JTT deploys operational personnel in the field 24 hours a day to ensure a rapid response if road conditions requiring further handling are identified. “We continue repairs despite weather challenges and heavy traffic conditions. The toll road must remain operational, and at the same time road user safety cannot be compromised. This is the balance we consistently maintain,” said Ria.

Ria added that operational strategies continue to be adjusted according to field conditions. “We strive to ensure repair works are carried out as effectively as possible, with minimal impact on traffic flow, without compromising the quality of work and safety aspects,” she explained. As part of this commitment, JTT also strengthens internal coordination, ensures the readiness of equipment and materials, and optimizes road safety facilities and information services for road users.

JTT extends its apologies to all road users for any inconvenience that may arise during the repair process. JTT urges road users to remain cautious, maintain a safe distance, and comply with traffic signs and officers’ instructions, especially when passing through work areas and during rainy conditions. JTT also appreciates the active role of the public in providing reports and information regarding road conditions. Such feedback plays an important role in supporting faster handling and continuous service quality improvement.

As part of its protection for road users, JTT informs that compensation may be provided if vehicle damage is proven to be caused by toll road conditions and all applicable procedures and requirements have been fulfilled.
