JTT Distributes Emergency Relief Assistance for Flood-Affected Residents in Bekasi

Bekasi (29/01) – As a form of corporate social responsibility and commitment to the community, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has distributed emergency relief assistance to residents affected by flooding in Bekasi Regency.

The assistance was delivered through the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Post of Bekasi Regency in Cikarang on Thursday (29/01) to ensure that the aid is properly targeted and can be promptly utilized by residents in need, particularly those living around the operational corridor of the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road. The assistance provided includes basic necessities to help support the daily needs of flood-affected residents.

VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the distribution of assistance is part of JTT’s commitment to being present for the community, especially during emergency situations. “We express our deep concern over the flooding that occurred in the Bekasi area, which has impacted the activities and livelihoods of the community. Through this assistance, JTT hopes to help ease the burden of affected residents and demonstrate the company’s tangible care for the surrounding environment,” said Ria.

Dodi Supriadi, Head of Emergency and Logistics Division, representing the aid recipient, expressed appreciation for the attention and support provided by JTT amid the difficult post-flood conditions. “We would like to thank PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol for the assistance provided. This support greatly helps us meet daily needs after being affected by the flood. May this kindness be rewarded, and may JTT continue to achieve greater success in the future,” he stated.

In addition to distributing social assistance, JTT continues to monitor toll road operational conditions in the Bekasi area to ensure the safety and comfort of road users, particularly amid extreme weather conditions that may still occur.

JTT urges the public to remain vigilant, follow instructions from officers on site, and prioritize safety in daily activities. JTT remains committed to working in synergy with stakeholders to support disaster response efforts and community recovery.
