JTT Enhances Return Flow Services, Alternative Rest Area RO 2 Palikanci Ready to Serve 24 Hours
Cirebon (27/03) – In an effort to improve the quality of Rest and Service Area (TIP) facilities during the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 return flow period, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has optimized the Representative Office (RO) 2 Palimanan–Kanci (Palikanci) as a supporting facility for an alternative rest area operating 24 hours a day. This facility is specifically provided to support smooth return traffic flow and offer additional rest options for road users.
This optimization aims to anticipate congestion at several rest areas during the return flow period while providing additional safe and comfortable resting space for road users along the Palimanan–Kanci Toll Road. With this facility, the distribution of vehicles across rest areas is expected to become more balanced, ensuring smoother journeys.
Senior Manager of Representative Office 2 Palikanci, M. Faried Sulistamtama, stated that this supporting facility has been prepared with an operational scheme integrated with traffic conditions, especially during the return flow period. “We have prepared the RO 2 Palikanci Office as an alternative rest area equipped with adequate facilities, including a parking area with a capacity of approximately 100 small vehicles, male and female restrooms, and a resting area for road users. In addition, entry and exit access arrangements have been adjusted to ensure orderly and safe vehicle movement,” said Faried.
Road users can access this facility via the Ciperna Barat Toll Gate at KM 203+900 A or the Ciperna Timur Toll Gate at KM 204+100 B. This alternative rest area facility at RO 2 Palikanci operates 24 hours a day and can be utilized at any time during the return flow period.
In its operation, JTT has also equipped the facility with directional signage and advisories along the toll road to assist users in accessing the location. Operational personnel are also on standby to help manage traffic and provide direct assistance to road users.
Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that this initiative is part of JTT’s commitment to maintaining road user comfort as a top priority during the return flow period. “The optimization of this supporting facility is an effort to provide adaptive services in response to increased traffic volume, while ensuring road users’ comfort through the availability of proper, safe, and comfortable rest facilities. We hope this facility can help distribute congestion at main rest areas so that road users’ journeys remain smooth,” said Ria.
JTT urges road users to utilize this supporting facility as an alternative resting place and to plan their travel time properly to avoid congestion at main rest areas. Ensure that both vehicle and driver are in prime condition, maintain sufficient electronic money balance, and always follow instructions from officers and traffic signs.
