JTT Continues Contraflow Traffic Scheme on Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road to Anticipate Increased Vehicle Volume

Cikampek (21/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), in coordination with the Police, continues the implementation of a contraflow traffic scheme on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road toward Cikampek to anticipate the increase in vehicle volume heading to the eastern Trans Java region during the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 holiday period.

The current traffic management scheme includes a 1-lane contraflow from KM 47 to KM 55 toward Cikampek. This is followed by a 2-lane contraflow from KM 55 to KM 70 toward Cikampek, implemented at 13:55 WIB to help alleviate traffic congestion heading east.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the implementation of this traffic engineering measure aims to maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure the safety of toll road users. “The contraflow traffic scheme is implemented situationally based on police discretion, taking into account real-time traffic conditions. JTT, together with relevant stakeholders, continues to conduct intensive monitoring to ensure traffic remains under control and road users can travel safely and smoothly,” said Ria.

JTT urges all Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety while driving, ensure sufficient electronic toll card balance before entering the toll road, and comply with traffic signs and officers’ instructions on site. Road users are also encouraged to stay updated on traffic conditions through the Travoy application, official Jasa Marga social media channels, and the One Call Center 133 service.
