JTT Urges Road Users as Traffic Engineering Remains in Effect on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road up to Trans Java

Bekasi (18/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) urges all road users that traffic engineering measures remain in effect on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road Section towards Trans Java to support the smooth flow of Idulfitri 1447H/2026 homecoming traffic.

Currently, traffic engineering in the form of contraflow is still being implemented on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road Section from KM 36 to KM 70 towards Cikampek under Police discretion since 00.00 WIB. In addition, Phase I one way traffic engineering remains in effect from KM 70 of the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road Section to KM 263 of the Pejagan–Pemalang Toll Road Section since yesterday at 15.18 WIB to alleviate congestion of vehicles heading towards the eastern Trans Java region.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the implementation of these traffic engineering measures is part of a joint effort between toll road operators and the Police to maintain smooth public mobility during the homecoming period.

“The implementation of traffic engineering measures in the form of contraflow and one way schemes is a Police discretion supported by Jasamarga Transjawa Tol to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles towards Trans Java. We urge road users to remain attentive to traffic signs, follow instructions from officers on duty, and properly prepare for their journeys,” said Ria.

Ria added that JTT, together with the Police and all relevant stakeholders, continues to monitor and evaluate traffic conditions to ensure optimal toll road services during this year’s Lebaran homecoming period.

JTT once again urges road users to ensure sufficient electronic money card balance before entering the toll road, maintain their vehicles in optimal condition, and take breaks at rest areas if feeling fatigued to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
