JTT Records an Increase in Traffic Volume Exiting and Entering Cikampek Utama Toll Gate Ahead of New Year Holidays

Cikampek (31/04) , On D-3 to D-2 (29-30/12) ahead of the 2025 New Year holidays, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded an increase in traffic volume exiting and entering the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. A total of 67,205 vehicles were recorded heading towards the Eastern Trans Java region through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT) or an increase of 27.1% compared to normal traffic of 52,868 vehicles.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal PT JTT Ria Marlinda Paallo reported the increase in traffic volume entering from the Eastern Trans Java region. “Meanwhile, traffic entering from the Eastern Trans Java region also remained at a relatively high level with 89,748 vehicles recorded, or an increase of 38.26% compared to normal traffic of 64,911 vehicles,” said Ria.

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol also recorded traffic volume on D-3 to D-2 ahead of the 2025 New Year holidays in Central Java and East Java as follows:

1. Central Java Region
a. GT Kalikangkung
The volume of vehicles at Kalikangkung GT heading to Semarang on D-3 to D-2 ahead of the 2025 New Year holidays reached 38,273 vehicles or an increase of 48.54% compared to normal traffic of 25,766 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles leaving Semarang totaled 55,379 vehicles or an increase of 79.78% compared to normal traffic of 30,803 vehicles.

b. GT Banyumanik
On D-3 to D-2 ahead of the 2025 New Year holidays, a total of 60,778 vehicles headed to Solo via Banyumanik GT or an increase of 40.83% compared to normal traffic of 43,158 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles heading to Jakarta totaled 68,871 vehicles or an increase of 62.94% compared to normal traffic of 42,267 vehicles.

2. East Java Region
a. GT Warugunung
On D-3 to D-2 ahead of the 2025 New Year holidays, a total of 49,105 vehicles headed to Surabaya through Warugunung GT or an increase of 27.48% compared to normal traffic of 38,521 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles heading to Jakarta through Warugunung GT totaled 45,391 vehicles or an increase of 29.64% compared to normal traffic of 35,014 vehicles.

b. GT Kejapanan Utama
On D-3 to D-2 ahead of the 2025 New Year holidays, a total of 58,933 vehicles headed to Malang or an increase of 30.01% compared to normal traffic of 45,331 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles heading to Surabaya totaled 64,375 vehicles or an increase of 16.41% compared to normal traffic of 55,301 vehicles.

c. GT Singosari
On D-3 to D-2 ahead of the 2025 New Year holidays, a total of 33,756 vehicles headed to Malang or an increase of 26.48% compared to normal traffic of 26,688 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles heading to Surabaya totaled 34,584 vehicles or an increase of 17.19% compared to normal traffic of 29,512 vehicles.

Ria further added, “We urge road users to plan their trips properly, prioritize safety, ensure vehicles are in prime condition, electronic toll balance is sufficient, and to charge devices and refuel before traveling, as well as bring supplies to avoid congestion at rest areas. Always drive carefully, obey traffic signs, and follow directions from officers on site,” Ria concluded.
