JTT Records 106 Thousand Vehicles Entering from the Eastern Trans Java Region up to D+3 of the Christmas and New Year Holidays
Cikampek (12/29), On D+1 to D+3 (12/26–12/28) of the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year Holiday period, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol recorded a total of 106,097 vehicles entering from the Eastern Trans Java Region. The total volume of vehicles entering from the Eastern Trans Java Region through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT) increased by 32.7% compared to normal traffic of 79,976 vehicles.
Meanwhile, for vehicles heading to the Eastern Trans Java Region, a total of 126,076 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 39.01% from normal traffic of 90,697 vehicles.
PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol also recorded traffic volume on D+1 to D+3 of the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year Holiday period in Central Java and East Java as follows:
1.Central Java Region
a. GT Kalikangkung
Vehicle volume at GT Kalikangkung leaving Semarang on D+1 to D+3 of the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year long holiday period was recorded at 68,031 vehicles, an increase of 65.20% from normal traffic of 41,182 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Semarang, a total of 73,871 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 59.80% from normal traffic of 46,226 vehicles.
b. GT Banyumanik
On D+1 to D+3 of the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year long holiday period, a total of 87,813 vehicles heading to Jakarta through GT Banyumanik were recorded, an increase of 66.35% from normal traffic of 52,789 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Solo, a total of 107,599 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 52.08% from normal traffic of 70,750 vehicles.
2.East Java Region
a. GT Warugunung
On D+1 to D+3 of the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year long holiday period, a total of 72,038 vehicles heading to Jakarta through GT Warugunung were recorded, an increase of 26.73% from normal traffic of 56,845 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Surabaya through GT Warugunung, a total of 73,345 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 28.37% from normal traffic of 57,134 vehicles.
b. GT Kejapanan Utama
On D+1 to D+3 of the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year long holiday period, a total of 93,526 vehicles heading to Surabaya were recorded, an increase of 32.05% from normal traffic of 70,825 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Malang, a total of 93,451 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 27.38% from normal traffic of 73,366 vehicles.
c. GT Singosari
On D+1 to D+3 of the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year long holiday period, a total of 48,037 vehicles heading to Surabaya were recorded, an increase of 30.96% from normal traffic of 36,680 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Malang, a total of 52,581 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 18.85% from normal traffic of 44,242 vehicles.
PT JTT urges all road users to prioritize safety, plan their trips, ensure their vehicles are in proper condition, ensure sufficient electronic payment balance, recharge devices and refuel before starting their trip, and bring supplies to avoid congestion at rest areas. Always drive carefully, obey traffic signs, and follow on-site officer directions.
