Cikampek Utama Toll Gate Records Surge in Eid al-Adha 1447 H/2026 Travel, 149 Thousand Vehicles Head Toward Eastern Trans Java

Cikampek (30/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded an increase in traffic volume from D-1 through D+2 (May 26–29, 2026) during the 1447 H/2026 Eid al-Adha long holiday period. A total of 149,389 vehicles traveled toward the eastern Trans Java region through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT Cikampek Utama). This figure represents a 32.08% increase compared to the normal traffic volume of 113,101 vehicles.

Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “As part of efforts to ease traffic congestion, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, JTT implemented a contraflow traffic scheme from KM 55 to KM 65 toward Cikampek starting at 09:43 WIB under the Police's discretion,” explained Ria.

Meanwhile, a total of 112,466 vehicles traveling from the eastern Trans Java region toward Jakarta passed through GT Cikampek Utama, representing a 6.19% increase compared to the normal traffic volume of 105,913 vehicles.

An increase in traffic volume was also recorded on several toll road sections managed by the JTT Group across Central Java and East Java.

Central Java Region

a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
A total of 75,076 vehicles traveled toward Semarang, representing a 15.98% increase from the normal volume of 64,732 vehicles. Meanwhile, 53,002 vehicles traveled out of Semarang toward Jakarta, a 8.25% decrease compared to the normal volume of 57,767 vehicles.

b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic heading toward Solo reached 101,540 vehicles, an increase of 17.51% from the normal volume of 86,410 vehicles. Meanwhile, traffic toward Jakarta totaled 76,882 vehicles, up 14.75% from the normal volume of 67,000 vehicles.

East Java Region

a. Warugunung Toll Gate
A total of 76,904 vehicles traveled toward Surabaya, representing a 0.03% decrease from the normal volume of 76,927 vehicles, while 76,226 vehicles traveled toward Jakarta, an increase of 2.59% compared to the normal volume of 74,305 vehicles.

b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 94,703 vehicles traveled toward Malang, an increase of 9.81% from the normal volume of 86,239 vehicles, while 94,175 vehicles traveled toward Surabaya, representing a 3.33% increase from the normal volume of 91,140 vehicles.

c. Singosari Toll Gate
A total of 55,486 vehicles traveled toward Malang, representing a 12.30% increase from the normal volume of 49,407 vehicles, while 50,088 vehicles traveled toward Surabaya, an increase of 12.76% from the normal volume of 44,419 vehicles.

Ria added, “Road users are encouraged to remain focused and attentive while driving, even though traffic conditions during the Eid al-Adha long holiday period have remained relatively smooth. We continue to urge all road users to prioritize safety, maintain their physical condition, and make use of the Travoy application to access real-time traffic information, rest area locations, toll road CCTV, and emergency services to support a safe and comfortable journey,” said Ria.
