Supporting Comfortable Travel Across the Trans Java Toll Road, JTT Optimizes Rest Area Services at Key Locations
Bekasi (31/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) continues to optimize services at Rest and Service Areas (Rest Areas) along the Trans Java Toll Road as part of the company's commitment to supporting safe, comfortable, and smooth journeys for the public.
JTT has ensured the readiness of services at 42 rest areas located across several strategic sections of the Trans Java Toll Road. A wide range of supporting facilities is available to meet the needs of road users, including parking areas, prayer rooms, restrooms, food courts, fuel stations, and electric vehicle charging stations at selected locations. These facilities form part of JTT's commitment to delivering toll road services that prioritize safety and travel comfort.
Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that rest areas play an important role in supporting road safety, particularly for motorists traveling long distances along the Trans Java corridor.
“JTT continues to ensure that all facilities and services at our rest areas operate optimally so that road users can take comfortable breaks during their journey. Based on our evaluation, one of the factors contributing to traffic disturbances and incidents on toll roads is drivers losing focus or experiencing reduced concentration while driving. Therefore, it is important for road users to be aware of the locations and facilities available at rest areas and make use of them as places to rest before continuing their journey,” said Ria.
To enhance the comfort of road users, JTT ensures that rest areas are kept clean, clean water is consistently available, restroom facilities remain in optimal condition, and parking areas are well managed with the support of security and cleaning personnel. In addition, several locations have been equipped with Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) as part of JTT's support for the development of Indonesia's electric vehicle ecosystem.
Ria added that road users are encouraged to plan their rest schedules and stopover locations before starting their journey, make use of facility information available through the Travoy application, and always ensure that both their vehicles and drivers are in optimal condition.
During periods of increased traffic volume, operational arrangements at rest areas may be adjusted based on prevailing traffic conditions to help maintain smooth traffic flow on the main carriageway.
For the latest traffic information and Jasa Marga Group toll road services, road users may contact the Jasa Marga 24-hour One Call Center at 133 or access the Travoy application.
