Supporting Smooth Mudik Traffic Flow, JTT Expands Contraflow to 3 Lanes at KM 48 to KM 66 on Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road

Cikampek (19/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) supports Police discretion by adjusting traffic engineering through the expansion of the contraflow lane from 2 lanes to 3 lanes at KM 48 to KM 66 toward Cikampek on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road at 12:21 WIB. This traffic scheme is implemented as an effort to reduce vehicle congestion and support the smooth flow of mudik traffic toward the eastern Trans Java region.

VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the adjustment in the number of contraflow lanes is carried out situationally by considering traffic conditions in the field. “The expansion of the contraflow to three lanes is part of anticipatory measures carried out in coordination with the Police to maintain smooth traffic flow toward the eastern Trans Java direction, especially today as increased mobility is observed ahead of Idulfitri 1447H/2026,” said Ria.

JTT, together with the Police and related parties, continues to monitor traffic conditions intensively and deploy officers in the field to ensure that the traffic engineering runs safely and smoothly.

JTT urges all road users to always drive carefully, maintain a safe distance between vehicles, and follow the directions of officers in the field as well as installed traffic signs. Road users are also advised to ensure sufficient electronic toll card balance and prepare both vehicle and driver conditions before traveling so that the journey remains safe and comfortable until reaching the destination.
