Supporting Smooth Traffic Flow, JTT Implements Contraflow KM 70 to KM 47 Towards Jakarta on Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road

Cikampek (28/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) supports the Police’s discretion by implementing a traffic engineering scheme in the form of contraflow from KM 70 to KM 47 towards Jakarta on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road at 15:48 WIB to anticipate the increase in vehicle volume during the Eid al-Fitr 1447H/2026 return flow period.

The contraflow traffic engineering is implemented situationally based on traffic conditions in the field and coordination between JTT and the Police to maintain smooth flow and ensure the safety of road users.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the implementation of contraflow is one of the strategic measures to anticipate congestion of vehicles heading towards Jakarta. “The implementation of contraflow from KM 47 to KM 70 towards Jakarta is carried out under Police discretion as an effort to maintain smooth vehicle flow and to support the local one way from KM 263 to KM 70 which is still in effect during the Eid al-Fitr 1447H/2026 return flow period. JTT together with the Police continue to intensively monitor traffic conditions to ensure optimal traffic management,” said Ria.

JTT urges all Trans Java toll road users to continue prioritizing safety by ensuring that both driver and vehicle are in prime condition before starting the journey. Road users are also advised to maintain a safe distance, pay attention to traffic signs, and follow the instructions of officers on site.

In addition, road users are encouraged to anticipate potential weather changes during the journey, ensure sufficient electronic toll balance, and plan their trips properly. The latest traffic information can be accessed through the Travoy application, official Jasamarga Transjawa Tol social media channels, and the Jasa Marga One Call Center at 133.
