Strong Public Enthusiasm During the 1447 H/2026 Eid al-Adha Long Holiday, Eastbound Trans Java Traffic Surges by 94% at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate

Cikampek (27/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded an increase in traffic volume on D-1 (26/05) of the 1447 H/2026 Eid al-Adha long holiday period. A total of 50,702 vehicles traveled toward the eastern Trans Java region through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT Cikampek Utama). This figure represents a 94.90% increase compared to the normal traffic volume of 26,014 vehicles.

Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Meanwhile, 26,668 vehicles traveling from the eastern Trans Java region toward Jakarta passed through GT Cikampek Utama, representing an increase of 4.12% compared to the normal traffic volume of 25,612 vehicles,” explained Ria.

An increase in traffic volume was also observed on several toll road sections managed by the JTT Group across Central Java and East Java.

Central Java Region

a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
A total of 22,378 vehicles traveled toward Semarang, representing a 57.36% increase from the normal volume of 14,221 vehicles. Meanwhile, 14,695 vehicles traveled out of Semarang toward Jakarta, an increase of 7.51% compared to the normal volume of 13,668 vehicles.

b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic heading toward Solo reached 30,857 vehicles, an increase of 58.74% from the normal volume of 19,439 vehicles. Meanwhile, traffic toward Jakarta totaled 18,634 vehicles, up 16.51% from the normal volume of 15,994 vehicles.

East Java Region

a. Warugunung Toll Gate
A total of 20,850 vehicles traveled toward Surabaya, an increase of 16.43% from the normal volume of 17,908 vehicles, while 24,980 vehicles traveled toward Jakarta, representing a 44.01% increase from the normal volume of 17,346 vehicles.

b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 25,081 vehicles traveled toward Malang, an increase of 29.26% from the normal volume of 19,404 vehicles, while 24,488 vehicles traveled toward Surabaya, up 17.35% from the normal volume of 20,868 vehicles.

c. Singosari Toll Gate
A total of 14,324 vehicles traveled toward Malang, representing a 27.71% increase from the normal volume of 11,216 vehicles, while 13,222 vehicles traveled toward Surabaya, an increase of 25.18% from the normal volume of 10,562 vehicles.

Ria encouraged road users to remain focused and attentive while driving, even though traffic conditions during the Eid al-Adha long holiday period have remained relatively smooth. “Smooth and relatively light traffic conditions still require caution. Therefore, we urge road users to continue prioritizing safety, maintain their physical condition, and make use of the Travoy application to access real-time traffic information, rest area locations, toll road CCTV, and emergency services to support a safe and comfortable journey,” said Ria.
