Strong Public Enthusiasm During the 1447 H/2026 Eid al-Adha Holiday, 112 Thousand Vehicles Head Toward Eastern Trans Java Through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate
Cikampek (29/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded an increase in traffic volume from D-1 through D+1 (May 26–28, 2026) during the 1447 H/2026 Eid al-Adha long holiday period. A total of 112,060 vehicles traveled toward the eastern Trans Java region through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT Cikampek Utama). This figure represents a 38.35% increase compared to the normal traffic volume of 80,996 vehicles.
Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Meanwhile, a total of 79,851 vehicles traveling from the eastern Trans Java region toward Jakarta passed through GT Cikampek Utama, representing a 3.23% increase compared to the normal traffic volume of 77,354 vehicles,” explained Ria.
An increase in traffic volume was also recorded on several toll road sections managed by the JTT Group across Central Java and East Java.
Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
A total of 57,088 vehicles traveled toward Semarang, representing a 23.90% increase from the normal volume of 46,077 vehicles. Meanwhile, 37,310 vehicles traveled out of Semarang toward Jakarta, a 12.16% decrease compared to the normal volume of 42,476 vehicles.
b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic heading toward Solo reached 75,067 vehicles, an increase of 23.20% from the normal volume of 60,930 vehicles. Meanwhile, traffic toward Jakarta totaled 56,391 vehicles, up 15.98% from the normal volume of 48,623 vehicles.
East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
A total of 55,347 vehicles traveled toward Surabaya, representing a 1.40% decrease from the normal volume of 56,133 vehicles, while 55,447 vehicles traveled toward Jakarta, an increase of 3.32% compared to the normal volume of 53,663 vehicles.
b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 69,320 vehicles traveled toward Malang, an increase of 12.06% from the normal volume of 61,858 vehicles, while 69,057 vehicles traveled toward Surabaya, representing a 2.63% increase from the normal volume of 67,288 vehicles.
c. Singosari Toll Gate
A total of 40,094 vehicles traveled toward Malang, representing a 14.58% increase from the normal volume of 34,991 vehicles, while 36,920 vehicles traveled toward Surabaya, an increase of 14.28% from the normal volume of 32,308 vehicles.
Ria added, “Road users are encouraged to remain focused and attentive while driving, even though traffic conditions during the Eid al-Adha long holiday period have remained relatively smooth. We continue to urge all road users to prioritize safety, maintain their physical condition, and make use of the Travoy application to access real-time traffic information, rest area locations, toll road CCTV, and emergency services to support a safe and comfortable journey,” said Ria.
