106 Thousand Vehicles Dominate Travel Towards Eastern Trans Java Through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate During the 2026 Ascension of Jesus Christ Long Holiday

Cikampek (16/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded an increase in traffic volume during the H-1 to H+1 period (May 13–15, 2026) of the 2026 Ascension of Jesus Christ long holiday. A total of 106,187 vehicles were recorded traveling towards the Eastern Trans Java region through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. This figure increased by 21.93% compared to the normal traffic volume of 87,087 vehicles.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Meanwhile, vehicles traveling from the Eastern Trans Java region towards Jakarta through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate totaled 83,318 vehicles, an increase of 3.76% compared to the normal traffic volume of 80,301 vehicles,” explained Ria.

Increased vehicle volume was also observed on several toll road sections managed by JTT Group in the Central Java and East Java regions.

Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading towards Semarang totaled 59,460 vehicles (up 17.72% from the normal volume of 50,511 vehicles). Meanwhile, vehicles leaving Semarang towards Jakarta reached 42,306 vehicles (down 4.07% from the normal volume of 44,099 vehicles).

b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic heading towards Solo totaled 88,592 vehicles (up 32.28% from the normal volume of 66,971 vehicles). Meanwhile, traffic towards Jakarta reached 60,699 vehicles (up 19.00% from the normal volume of 51,006 vehicles).

East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading towards Surabaya totaled 60,045 vehicles (up 1.74% from the normal volume of 59,019 vehicles), while traffic towards Jakarta reached 61,866 vehicles (up 8.61% from the normal volume of 56,959 vehicles).

b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 76,506 vehicles were recorded heading towards Malang (up 14.47% from the normal volume of 66,835 vehicles), while 76,777 vehicles were heading towards Surabaya (up 9.26% from the normal volume of 70,272 vehicles).

c. Singosari Toll Gate
Vehicles heading towards Malang totaled 47,291 vehicles (up 23.83% from the normal volume of 38,191 vehicles), while traffic towards Surabaya reached 41,001 vehicles (up 21.10% from the normal volume of 33,857 vehicles).
