Demonstrating Commitment, Jasamarga Transjawa Tol Provides Assistance to Communities Affected by the NTT Earthquake

Bekasi (24/08) – As part of its commitment to supporting communities facing emergency conditions following the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has provided assistance to help meet the needs of affected communities.

The assistance was handed over by JTT management representatives to the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) at the National Logistics Support Post for Emergency Response to the Earthquake Disaster in East Nusa Tenggara Province, Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta, on Monday (24/08). The assistance consisted of various essential supplies to support the needs of affected communities during the emergency response period.

Acting VP of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Dary Achmad Budi, expressed JTT’s concern and support for communities affected by the earthquake disaster in NTT.

“We are deeply concerned about the earthquake that occurred in East Nusa Tenggara. Amid these challenging circumstances, we hope that the affected communities will be given strength and safety. The assistance we have provided reflects JTT’s commitment to being present and sharing with our fellow Indonesians who are currently in need. We hope this assistance will be beneficial and help ease the burden on affected communities during the emergency response period,” said Dary.

The assistance received will subsequently be coordinated by BNPB for distribution to affected communities based on their needs and conditions on the ground. The distribution of assistance will prioritize the communities’ immediate needs during the emergency response period.

BNPB Coordinator for Assistance Receipt & Recording, Winda Putri, expressed her appreciation for the concern shown by various parties that have contributed to supporting the earthquake disaster response in NTT.

“We hope that the assistance provided can help ease the burden on communities affected by the earthquake in NTT. In addition, this initiative also reflects the concern and support of various parties for communities currently facing the disaster,” said Winda.

Through the provision of this assistance, JTT hopes to contribute to supporting the people of NTT as they navigate the emergency situation and post-disaster recovery process. JTT is committed to continuing to foster social responsibility and make positive contributions to the community, particularly when support and assistance are most needed.
