To Ease Traffic Congestion, JTT Reintroduces Contraflow from KM 21 to KM 23 Towards Cikampek

Bekasi (01/10) – At the discretion of the Police, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has reintroduced a contraflow traffic arrangement from KM 21 to KM 23 towards Cikampek on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road as an effort to ease traffic congestion.

Senior Manager of Representative Office 1 of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Jauzy Anbiya, explained that the contraflow was implemented on Thursday (01/10) at 7:40 AM Western Indonesia Time (WIB).

“JTT officers, together with the Police, are on site to manage traffic and ensure that the contraflow arrangement runs safely and smoothly. We continue to monitor traffic conditions and coordinate with the Police to adjust traffic arrangements according to conditions on the ground,” Jauzy explained.

Acting VP of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Dary Achmad Budi, urged road users to remain cautious, maintain a safe distance, and reduce their speed when entering and passing through the contraflow lane.

“JTT apologizes for the inconvenience caused. We urge road users to plan their journeys accordingly and continue to comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers on site,” Dary stated.

The latest traffic information is available through the Jasa Marga Group 24-hour One Call Center at 133 and the Travoy application.
