To Ensure Smooth Traffic Flow During Road Works, JTT Reimplements Contraflow on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road

Bekasi (19/10) – At the discretion of the Police, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) implemented a contraflow traffic arrangement on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road on Monday (19/10). This traffic management measure was carried out to maintain smooth traffic flow toward Cikampek in connection with road works on the section.

Senior Manager of Representative Office 1 of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Jauzy Anbiya, explained that the contraflow was implemented from KM 23 to KM 32 in the direction of Cikampek starting at 8:04 AM WIB.

“JTT officers, together with the Police, are on site to manage traffic and ensure that the contraflow implementation runs safely and smoothly. This traffic management measure is intended to maintain smooth journeys for road users during the road works,” Jauzy explained.

Acting VP of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Dary Achmad Budi, urged road users to remain cautious when traveling through the contraflow lane.

“JTT apologizes for the inconvenience and urges road users to plan their journeys accordingly, maintain a safe distance, reduce their speed when entering the contraflow lane, and comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers on site,” Dary stated.

JTT will continue to monitor traffic conditions and coordinate with the Police to adjust traffic management measures based on conditions on the ground.
