Enhancing Toll Road User Comfort, JTT Supports ODOL Enforcement Operations Across Trans Java Toll Road
Bekasi (27/02) – To improve toll road user comfort and ensure toll road infrastructure remains in optimal condition, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) supports the enforcement operation against Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) vehicles in collaboration with the Directorate of Land Transportation, Highway Patrol (PJR), and various related agencies across several key Trans Java Toll Road sections.
The ODOL enforcement operation was conducted at strategic locations, including the Palimanan–Kanci Toll Road on February 24, 2025, the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road on February 25–27, 2025, and the Surabaya–Gempol Toll Road on February 25, 2025. This operation represents a strategic effort to reduce the potential for accidents and road damage caused by vehicles exceeding authorized load and dimension limits.
The ODOL operation on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road took place at KM 29 A towards Cikampek, at the former Cikarang Utama Toll Gate, and was carried out over three days from February 25 to 27, 2025. During the operation, Representative Office 1 of PT JTT, together with the Ministry of Transportation, Bekasi Regency Transportation Agency, and the Indonesian Army Military Police (POM AD), recorded several heavy vehicles violating weight capacity limits (overload).
During the inspection trip to the toll road, the Minister of Transportation also directly observed the operation on-site and expressed support for the collaborative efforts made by all parties involved in ODOL enforcement on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road.
Senior Manager of Representative Office 1 PT JTT Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road, Amri Sanusi, stated, “PT JTT reaffirms its commitment to continuously support the regular implementation of similar operations to create a safer, more comfortable, and orderly toll road environment. Through synergy with various stakeholders, it is expected that compliance with traffic regulations will continue to improve, enabling all road users to enjoy safer and smoother travel,” said Amri.
Furthermore, Representative Office 2 of PT JTT, managing the Palimanan–Kanci Toll Road, also collaborated in ODOL enforcement activities at Rest Area KM 208 of the Palimanan–Kanci Toll Road. Meanwhile, Representative Office 3 of PT JTT conducted similar operations at the Waru Toll Gate ramp on the Surabaya–Gempol Toll Road. This collaboration aims to support ODOL enforcement efforts to ensure safety and smooth traffic across all toll road sections managed by the company.
This operation is expected to help reduce heavy vehicle violations, which have been a major cause of accidents and toll road infrastructure damage. Overloaded vehicles not only endanger other road users but also accelerate road deterioration, ultimately increasing maintenance costs.
VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT, Ria Paallo, explained, “This operation reflects our full support to stakeholders, especially toll road users, with the main objective of ensuring comfort and safety, as well as supporting the realization of traffic safety on toll roads,” said Ria.
As part of continuous service improvement, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol remains committed to optimizing toll road operational services. The public is encouraged to plan their trips properly, ensure sufficient balance on electronic payment cards, and comply with traffic regulations for a safe and smooth journey.
Real-time toll road traffic information from Jasa Marga Group can be accessed through the 24-hour One Call Center at 14080 and the Travoy 4.4 application available for iOS and Android users.
