Distributes Environmental Cleaning Equipment Assistance, JTT Supports Sustainable Cleanliness in Bekasi

Bekasi (30/10) – As a form of concern for the communities around its operational areas as well as support for efforts to maintain a clean and sustainable environment, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) distributed social assistance in the form of environmental cleaning equipment to residents of RW 026, Margahayu Subdistrict, East Bekasi District.

This assistance is part of JTT’s social program focusing on improving cleanliness and environmental quality around the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road. Through this activity, JTT distributed cleaning equipment in the form of garbage carts and trash bins, which are expected to help residents improve household waste management and create a cleaner and healthier environment.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that this activity is one of the company’s concrete commitments to environmental preservation and community welfare. “JTT believes that a clean environment is the foundation of a healthy and productive community. Through this assistance, we aim to contribute directly to supporting better and more sustainable waste management around our operational areas,” said Ria.

The Head of RW 026 Margahayu Subdistrict, Mr. Sanam S. Umam, expressed his appreciation for the support provided by PT JTT to the residents. “We are very grateful to JTT for the cleaning equipment assistance given. We have continuously worked to maintain our environmental cleanliness, and this support is certainly very helpful in facilitating waste management activities in our area. We hope this cooperation can continue in the future,” he said.

As part of the operator of the Trans Java Toll Road network, JTT continues to strive to maintain a balance between toll road infrastructure development and its social responsibility as well as environmental preservation. This social assistance program is also aligned with the company’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in supporting Sustainable Cities and Communities.
