Traffic Accident at KM 26+600B of the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road, JTT Officers Respond Swiftly with Evacuation Efforts

Bekasi (17/07) – A traffic accident occurred at KM 26+600B toward Jakarta on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 5:01 PM (WIB). Upon receiving the report, Mobile Customer Service officers immediately responded by carrying out prompt evacuation efforts.

Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Jauzy Anbiya, explained that based on reports from officers at the scene, the incident involved four vehicles traveling from Cikampek toward Jakarta in lane 4.

"Based on information from officers at the scene, Vehicle 1 reduced its speed, followed by Vehicles 2, 3, and 4, which failed to anticipate the prevailing traffic conditions, resulting in a chain-reaction collision. The final position of all four vehicles was upright in lane 4, facing west," explained Jauzy.

The evacuation process at the scene was completed at 7:20 PM (WIB). All lanes have now been reopened to traffic, and traffic flow on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road has returned to normal. There were casualties in the incident, who have been transported to Siloam East Bekasi Hospital for medical treatment. Further handling of the incident is being carried out by the West Java Highway Patrol.

Acting Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Dary Achmad Budi, stated, "JTT apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this incident. We urge all road users to remain vigilant and ensure that their vehicles are in roadworthy condition. If you feel fatigued while driving, please take a break at the designated rest areas," said Dary.
