Supporting Road User Comfort, JTT Carries Out Maintenance Works on the Semarang Toll Road Sections A, B, and C

Semarang (29/07) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is carrying out concrete pavement reconstruction works on the Semarang Toll Road Sections A, B, and C as part of its commitment to maintaining the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) while enhancing safety and driving comfort for toll road users.

The works are being carried out in phases to maintain road quality and driving comfort. The work schedule is as follows:

Scraping, Filling, Overlay

1. KM 422+876 to KM 422+796, Section A, toward Jakarta, Lane 2, and KM 420+494 to KM 420+405, Section A, toward Jakarta, Lane 2, from Monday, July 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM (WIB) until Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 6:00 AM (WIB)

2. KM 423+380 to KM 423+317, Section A, toward Jakarta, Lane 1, and KM 422+641 to KM 422+507, Section A, toward Jakarta, Lane 1, from Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM (WIB) until Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 6:00 AM (WIB)

Senior Manager Representative Office 2 of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ginanjar Bekti Rakhmanto, stated that the maintenance works have been carefully planned and will be carried out in phases to minimize disruption to traffic flow.

"These reconstruction works are part of our ongoing maintenance program to preserve the reliability of the toll road infrastructure and ensure driving comfort for road users. Throughout the maintenance period, the toll road will remain operational with situational traffic management implemented around the work areas," explained Ginanjar.

Acting Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Dary Achmad Budi, also stated that JTT has prepared comprehensive operational mitigation measures, including the installation of work zone safety signs in accordance with applicable standards, the deployment of officers on site, and close coordination with the Indonesian National Police to ensure smooth traffic flow throughout the maintenance period.

Dary also expressed his apologies for any inconvenience that road users may experience during the maintenance works.

"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or traffic delays that may occur during the maintenance works. These activities reflect JTT's commitment to maintaining service quality and ensuring the long-term reliability of toll road infrastructure. We greatly appreciate the patience and understanding of all road users throughout the implementation of these works," said Dary.

JTT advises road users to plan their travel accordingly, ensure that both their vehicles and drivers are in good condition, maintain sufficient electronic toll card balance, and comply with traffic signs as well as instructions from officers on site.
