PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol Predicts 122 Thousand Vehicles Heading East of Trans Java during the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday Holiday Period

 

Bekasi (15/09), PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) as the manager of the toll road section along Trans Java in the West Java, Central Java, and East Java Regions predicts 122,083 vehicles heading East of Trans Java during the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday holiday period, namely September 13-16, 2024. The total volume of vehicles leaving the Jakarta Area through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT) increased by 7.0% when compared to normal traffic of 114,095 vehicles.

 

Meanwhile, the prediction for vehicles entering from the Eastern Trans Java Region was recorded at 121,850 vehicles or an increase of 4.3% from normal traffic of 116,846 vehicles.

 

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol also recorded the predicted traffic volume during the Prophet Muhammad SAW's Birthday holiday period in the Central Java and East Java Regions as follows:

1. Central Java Region

a. GT Kalikangkung

The predicted volume of vehicles from GT Kalikangkung heading to Semarang, during the Prophet Muhammad SAW's Birthday holiday period, was recorded at 79,124 vehicles or an increase of 29.7% from normal traffic of 61,020 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Jakarta, it was recorded at 74,694 vehicles or a decrease of 30.0% from normal traffic of 57,458 vehicles.

 

b. GT Banyumanik

During the Prophet Muhammad SAW's Birthday holiday period, it was recorded at 107,223 vehicles heading to Solo via GT Banyumanik or an increase of 15.6% from normal traffic of 92,783 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Jakarta, there were 84,657 vehicles recorded or down 9.2% from normal traffic of 77,530 vehicles.

 

2. East Java Region

a. GT Warugunung

During the Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW holiday period, there were 80,788 vehicles heading to Surabaya via GT Warugunung or up 5.6% from normal traffic of 76,494 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Jakarta via GT Warugunung, there were 74,067 vehicles recorded or up 5.3% from normal traffic of 70,324 vehicles.

 

Pratomo Bimawan Putra as Business Director of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol conveyed the readiness of operational services ahead of the Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW holiday period. "We will continue to strive to provide optimal service during the long Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW holiday period. In the field of transaction services, PT JTT ensures that the toll booths are operating 100% including optimizing the Oblique Approach Booth (OAB) and preparing Mobile Readers (MR) to increase transaction capacity at the main toll gates. Then in the field of preservation, PT JTT continues to carry out routine road maintenance, cleaning drainage, anticipating puddles, and preparing a maintenance team to anticipate travel obstacles," said Bima.

 

Bima further added, "In the field of rest area services, PT JTT ensures the availability of clean water, fuel services and coordinates with the Police in terms of traffic management including opening and closing rest areas if necessary. PT JTT also continues to strive to optimize technology such as utilizing the Intelligent Transport System platform and operating Lane Control Signals to support traffic engineering carried out by the Police," added Bima.
