20% Toll Tariff Discount Still in Effect, JTT Records 37 Thousand Vehicles from the Eastern Trans Java Region

Cikampek (29/06) – On D+1 of the 1 Muharram 1447 H holiday (28/06), total vehicle volume increased, with PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recording 37,381 vehicles from the Eastern Trans Java region passing through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT). This total volume represents a 51.7% increase compared to normal traffic of 24,644 vehicles. The surge occurred while the 20% toll tariff discount program remains active and can be enjoyed until tonight, Sunday, 29 June 2025 at 24:00 WIB.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Meanwhile, for vehicles heading toward the Eastern Trans Java Region, a total of 34,215 vehicles was recorded, an increase of 26.1% from normal traffic of 27,128 vehicles,” said Ria.

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol also recorded traffic volumes on D+1 of the 1 Muharram 1447 H holiday in Central Java and East Java as follows:

1.Central Java Region
a. GT Kalikangkung
Vehicle volume exiting Semarang through GT Kalikangkung on D+1 of the 1 Muharram 1447 H holiday reached 19,412 vehicles, an increase of 58.9% from normal traffic of 12,215 vehicles. For vehicles entering Semarang, 17,966 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 30.2% from normal traffic of 13,804 vehicles.

b. GT Banyumanik
On D+1 of the 1 Muharram 1447 H holiday, 26,046 vehicles were recorded heading to Jakarta via GT Banyumanik, an increase of 53.2% from normal traffic of 17,004 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Solo, 29,449 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 28.0% from normal traffic of 23,013 vehicles.

2.East Java Region
a. GT Warugunung
On D+1 of the 1 Muharram 1447 H holiday, 22,945 vehicles were recorded heading to Jakarta via GT Warugunung, an increase of 29.1% from normal traffic of 17,775 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Surabaya via GT Warugunung, 22,969 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 28.6% from normal traffic of 17,862 vehicles.

b. GT Kejapanan Utama
On D+1 of the 1 Muharram 1447 H holiday, 32,788 vehicles were recorded heading to Surabaya, an increase of 48.6% from normal traffic of 22,058 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Malang, 31,881 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 34.3% from normal traffic of 23,743 vehicles.

c. GT Singosari
On D+1 of the 1 Muharram 1447 H holiday, 18,651 vehicles were recorded heading to Surabaya, an increase of 52.1% from normal traffic of 12,266 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Malang, 19,882 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 31.6% from normal traffic of 15,112 vehicles.

The 20% toll tariff discount program remains available until Sunday, 29 June 2025 at 24:00 WIB, offering an opportunity for travelers planning trips during the holiday period. This discount applies to users who use electronic money with sufficient balance and make continuous trips, both from GT Cikampek Utama to GT Kalikangkung and vice versa, as well as from GT Kejapanan Utama to GT Singosari and vice versa.

Ria further emphasized the importance of safety for road users, “We urge Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety, prepare themselves before entering the toll road, ensure both driver and vehicle are in prime condition, check battery power, fuel, and electronic money balance, and comply with road signs and on-site officers’ instructions,” Ria concluded.
